MT-Propeller Receives FAA STC fro Beech 99/100 Series with Five-Blade Propeller
MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received the FAA STC SA04633NY for the Quiet Fan Jet composite propeller MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(G)/CFR224-55( ) on the Beech 99/100 series powered by two Honeywell TPE-331-6-252B or any TPE-331-( ) installed per approved STCs which do not exceed 715 HP and 2000 RPM.
The installation of the MTV-27 Propellers is already certified by EASA STC 10064889 R1 and the TCCA Canada Acceptance No. 5010-O-20-0482.
MT-Propeller Vice President Martin Albrecht says, that the installation of the 5-blade MTV-27 Propellers on the Beech 99/100 Series feature the following advantages:
- Take-Off improvement by 10 percent
- No propeller speed restrictions on ground while operating in low idle
- Lower ITTs during start-up for less engine wear
- Significant cabin noise [up to 10 dB(A)]and vibration reduction
- Unbeatable esthetic ramp appeal
- Comply with the strict German noise regulations 2010 - „Landeplatz
Lärmschutz Verordnung“ for unrestricted airport operations in Germany and other European Countries.
Due to the smaller diameter the MT-Propeller for the Beech 99/100 Series has more ground clearance for less blade tip erosion and FODs.
The MT-Propeller natural composite blades provide significant inside and outside noise reduction. They have no life limitation and are repairable in case of an FOD.
They also provide best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration free propeller operation and have bonded on nickel alloy leading edges for superior erosion protection of the blades.
