Daniel Bangs Named General Manager of Doncasters Turbine Components Division’s Storms Forge and New England Airfoil Products (NEAP)
12 March, 2013, Burton-upon-Trent, UK, – Doncasters Group has appointed Daniel Bangs as General Manager of their Turbine Components Division’s Storms Forge and New England Airfoil Products (NEAP) operations, according to an announcement by Craig Gooding, Managing Director of the Group’s Aerospace and Turbine Components Divisions.
In a related announcement, Tony Dalby will be stepping down March 15th from the GM position being assumed by Mr. Bangs. Mr. Gooding noted that, “Tony’s exceptional leadership and technical capabilities have positioned Storms Forge and NEAP to excel in the markets they serve and continue their focus on operational success. The management teams at Storms Forge and NEAP are grateful for his many contributions.”
Prior to being named General Manager, Daniel Bangs was Sales Manager for Storms Forge and NEAP. In total, Mr. Bangs has nearly 20 years experience in plant management and customer relations. Mr. Gooding stated that, “Dan’s strong operational knowledge and understanding of customer requirements will play an integral role in the continued success within the division. We’re confident that he will be a strong customer advocate and at the same time move our operations forward at an accelerated pace.”
Mr. Dalby and Mr. Bangs will be working together to ensure a smooth transition in leadership. Recruitment efforts for the Sales Manager position are underway.
