Embraer and MTU Maintenance Lease Services Sign Lease Engine Cooperation
Munich, Amsterdam (The Netherlands), 3 June, 2016 – MTU Maintenance Lease Services B.V., a subsidiary of German aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero En-gines, is enhancing its existing services through a cooperation with Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer Aviation International SAS. A new service was created and foresees the provision of spare lease engines and lease engine support services to Embraer’s E-jet operators in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. According to the agreement, MTU Maintenance Lease Services will act as Embraer’s recognised supplier of CF34-10E lease engines and lease support services.

MTU Maintenance Lease Services B.V. was founded in 2013 as a joint venture with the Japanese trading house Sumitomo Corporations and provides flexible and inte-grated short- and long-term lease engine services as well as stand-by arrangements and financial support through trusted partners. Additional services, among these end-of lease, logistical, and housekeeping services can be added by customers upon re-quest. Further, the company offers asset owners solutions to increase their return of investment and find a smooth exit strategy for engines at the end of their operational life.
