Vector Aerospace Celebrates First Anniversary of VMAX Engine Maintenance Plan
Orlando, FL – Vector Aerospace Corporation (www.vectoraerospace.com), a global independent provider of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, is celebrating the first anniversary of the launch of its VMAX pay-per-hour engine maintenance plan support program for the Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) JT15D turbofan at the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Orlando, FL, during November 1-3. Vector is showcasing its full range of cost-effective MRO solutions, including VMAX, on Booth 3257.
The VMAX program is focused on keeping operators of the global fleet of 4,800 JT15Ds flying, and combines the responsive, high-quality support provided by Vector Aerospace’s fully-authorized JT15D Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) and global field service team with a convenient pay-per-hour engine service plan. Owners of engines enrolled in the VMAX program receive worldwide coverage through a dedicated 24/7 customer support line and regular monthly hours reporting.
Since the introduction of the original VMAX plan for the JT15D, Vector has also added a similar program for the PT6A turboprop, enabling operators of this legendary engine to benefit from Vector’s established position as the world’s leading provider of MRO support for the PT6A family.
“It has been just over one year since we were officially entrusted by P&WC with meeting the go-forward engine service plan needs of its JT15D operators,” says Jeff Poirier, President of Vector Aerospace Engine Services - Atlantic. “It has been a very successful year. Operators of the these engines – as well as the PT6A – can rest assured that our team of customer service professionals here at Vector will continue to deliver the highest standards of service, quality and responsiveness through VMAX that they have come to expect.”
Vector has a long-running relationship with P&WC, not only as a Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) on the JT15D series and Distribution and Designated Overhaul Facility (DDOF) on select models of the PT6A series, but also as a DOF on the PW100, PW150A and PW300 engine families, and as a DDOF on the PT6T turboshaft family.
In addition to its PT6A VMAX offering, Vector also continues to support a wide range of P&WC-driven initiatives for the PT6A family, including the Flat Rate Overhaul program – part of the P&WCSMART Maintenance Solutions program – which enables operators of the PT6A-21, -27, -28, -41, -42 and -114 engine variants to take advantage of a guaranteed not-to-exceed pre-set capped price for overhauls.
