Safran Nacelles Announces Appointments to Corporate Management Team
Safran Nacelles announces two appointments to its management team. Fabienne Lacorre is appointed technical vice president. Marie-Aude Zueras is appointed communications vice president.
After graduating as a fluid mechanics engineer, Lacorre began her career in 1987 in the Technical Department of Snecma (today Safran Aircraft Engines) as an aerodynamics engineer. She then became a specialist in turbine design, including the low-pressure turbines of CFM International's CFM56 engines for the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 families. In 2000, she was promoted to lead the technical teams working on the successor to the CFM engine. From 2005, she took charge of the Integration Division and in 2008, she was appointed strategy director of the Programs Department. In 2010, she became director of development for the three versions of the LEAP engine for the Airbus, Boeing and COMAC applications. In 2014, Lacorre was appointed assistant to the technical director. In this role, she orchestrated the RISE technology program, which led to the birth to the LEAP engine successor.
Marie-Aude Zueras began her career in 2006 after receiving a Master's degree in Scientific and Technical Communication. After her first experience as a project manager in Planète Sciences, a scientific and technical culture association, she joined Snecma (Safran Aircraft Engines) at the end of 2006, where she held the positions of communication manager, and intranet project and corporate collaborative networks (CCN) manager. She was appointed Communications Manager at the Gennevilliers (France) facility in 2013, before being nominated as an external communications and international relations manager at Safran Aircraft Engines in 2017. She joined Safran's headquarters in 2020 as head of communications for the group's cross-functional functions.
