Yankee Pacific Aerospace Changes Name to Advent Aerospace January 1, 2014
Rye, New Hampshire, December 10, 2013....Yankee Pacific Aerospace, Inc, since 2006 a leader in providing custom structures, components and systems to the VVIP and corporate aircraft markets, is to be re-named Advent Aerospace, Inc., on January 1, 2014, to reflect the company’s evolution from a company name based on geographical reach to one reflecting its current and future emphasis on technology, innovation and product development.
“Advent means “the arrival of something new”, and for us, Advent Aerospace means an ever-increasing emphasis on technology and innovation to bring great new products and services to our customers and offer new opportunities for our employees,” said Ken Goldsmith, managing director, upon announcing the name change to company employees.
"While the name Yankee Pacific Aerospace was memorable from a geographic perspective, Advent Aerospace better reflects our dedication to pushing the boundaries of new product technology, service commitment and a customer-first attitude.
“Our focus on growth and innovation does not diminish in any way our determination to maintain our market leadership in our core businesses at Jormac Aerospace, Cabin Innovations and Aircraft Systems. On the contrary, it is our solid base of core businesses that provides the critical platform for new developments at all levels of the company,” Goldsmith added.
Advent Aerospace, Inc. provides engineered products and services to aircraft OEMs, major subcontractors, modification centers and aircraft owners and operators in the corporate, commercial, and government aviation markets. Through divisions located in Florida, Texas and Oklahoma, the company designs, engineers, analyzes, manufactures, tests, certifies and supports proprietary components and systems for aircraft, including specialized interior products for Boeing and Airbus VIP aircraft and anti-skid braking systems for light turbine aircraft.
