Rectrix Marks 20,000th Charter Flight with Water Cannon Salute and Ceremony in Worcester

Worcester, MA (June 5, 2017) – Rectrix Commercial Aviation Services marked its 20,000thcharter flight at a ceremony at Worcester Regional Airport (ORH). Rectrix uses ORH as a maintenance base-of-operations for its aircraft fleet. To celebrate the milestone, a Rectrix charter jet was given a water cannon salute as it taxied to the company’s Aerodrome terminal. Congressman Jim McGovern, Boston Bruin legend Bobby Orr, Worcester Airport Director Andy Davis, Worcester City Manager Ed Augustus and Worcester Chamber President Tim Murray, joined Rectrix CEO Richard Cawley, Rectrix employees, airport staff and other community leaders to recognize this important aviation achievement for the company.Rectrix was founded in 2005 and its charter division began in 2010, reaching its 20,000th flight in only seven years.
