Cutter Aviation Appoints Matthew Sorace as Flight Department Manager at Phoenix Sky Harbor

June 6, 2017

Cutter Aviation announced the promotion of Matt Sorace to flight department manager based at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Sorace will undertake responsibility for the day-to-day operations of Cutter Flight Management’s aircraft charter and management department. Matt will also assist in growing the number of clients in this pivotal and important role.

Matt joined the Cutter Aviation team as the charter coordinator for Cutter Flight Management in 2010. During his tenure with Cutter Flight Management, Sorace continued to broaden his knowledge of the department by serving in multiple roles, which included maintenance controller and charter supervisor. Matt’s Aviation Sciences degree, his Commercial Pilot with Multi-Engine and Instrument rating, and time as a flight instructor also helped prepare him to accept the role of Flight Department Manager for Cutter Aviation.

Sorace grew up in Gardnerville, Nev. until moving to Mesa, Ariz., to attend college. In his free time, he volunteers with local pet-shelters and animal rescue groups. He and his wife have an 11-year-old rescue pit bull and a hedgehog.
