Signature Flight Support Inaugurates In-FBO Customs at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in NH

Oct. 24, 2017
This new service is especially relevant for customers entering the United States from Canada and Trans-Atlantic flights from Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Signature Flight Support, in partnership with United States Customs and Border Protection and the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, has introduced customs and immigration services directly within the Signature Manchester terminal building. Time conscious international visitors arriving at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport may now enjoy expedited entry into the United States and swift landside transfers.  This new service is especially relevant for customers entering the United States from Canada and Trans-Atlantic flights from Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The new services are the culmination of a six month project between Signature and the airport authority to consolidate the airport’s business aviation footprint and improve the international arrival process for visitors. The previous procedure, which required arriving aircraft to clear customs at a remote parking stand, has been transitioned to the existing Signature facility.

A secure ramp and fully-functional CBP checkpoint is now supplemented with convenient vehicle parking and rapid ground transfers, while flight crews may take advantage of international trash disposal, Category 3 ILS approaches, and a leading snow removal program that has allowed the airport to remain continuously open for 20 years.

Maria Sastre, President and Chief Operating Officer of Signature Flight Support, explained, “Signature has been working with our airport partners to constantly evolve our products and services, with a consistent focus on accessibility for our customers to the markets that we serve. Our collaboration with the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and US Customs and Border Protection demonstrates a conscientious effort to reduce transit time for our customers.”
