GWBAA Welcomes New Board Members
The Greater Washington Business Aviation Association (GWBAA) announces the appointment of two new board members.
Joining the board are Jamie Wilson and Scott White. “Both of our newest Board Members have been active members of GWBAA and we are fortunate to have their expertise and energy to help grow our Association” said Bob Blouin, president.
Wilson is a senior associate at FBO Partners with nearly 20 years of experience in business aviation in the Washington, D.C. area. Wilson began his aviation career at Washington-Dulles International Airport (KIAD) with Piedmont-Hawthorne Aviation and went on to become general manager at Landmark Aviation. A certified project management Professional (PMP), Wilson also served as project manager (PM) on several programs related to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) including NexGen.
White, regional sales manager, StandardAero, has had a distinguished 34-year career in aircraft maintenance and sales. White was the 2017 recipient of the NBAA Dr. Tony Kearn Professionalism Award and is the NBAA TRACS Scholarship Co-Chair. He is also an active member of the NBAA Maintenance Committee.
Earlier this year, the GWBAA Board also appointed their first executive director, Cheryl Goldsby, to better serve its membership and support continued growth.
