Cutter Aviation Promotes Taylor Butterfield to Flight Department Manager
Cutter Aviation is pleased to announce the promotion of Taylor Butterfield to the role of Flight Department Manager for Cutter Aviation’s Charter and Flight Management Department based in Phoenix, AZ. In his new role, Mr. Butterfield is enthusiastic about the opportunity to lead a great team as they grow Cutter’s charter flight operations and aircraft management services for their domestic and international client base.
Butterfield graduated from the University of North Dakota with Bachelor’s degrees in Commercial Aviation and Aviation Management. After three years of teaching for the University, he accepted a position with General Atomics flying unmanned aircraft. He was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom where he flew reconnaissance, surveillance, and target acquisition operations during two wartime operations. Butterfield progressed his career in aerospace and defense roles as a project and program manager supporting, managing, and leading logistics, fielding, and training efforts for multiple civilian and U.S. Department of Defense programs.
Mr. Butterfield joined Cutter Aviation as a pilot in early 2016. Since then, he has flown as a dedicated team member for Cutter’s HondaJet and King Air clients. Cutter Aviation’s charter operation manages a fleet of six aircraft based in the states of Arizona and Texas.
