Stellar Aviation Further Expands its FBO Network with RFP Award at the Reno Tahoe International Airport (RNO)
Stellar Aviation Group announced that it was awarded a 50-year lease and development agreement with the Reno Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA). The agreement provides for Stellar Aviation to construct a state of the art, full service FBO and hangar complex at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport located in Reno, Nevada. To meet the increased demand from all aspects of the general aviation community, Stellar was awarded the right to operate a 2nd FBO in Reno. Stellar's phased development of over 40 acres will significantly increase the availability of FBO services and hangar space at the growing airport. Combining Stellar's reputation for quality service and safety, along with its seasoned management team, the addition of Stellar Aviation at the Reno-Tahoe Airport adds another bright and strategic star in the Stellar FBO network.
Jonathan Miller, president of Stellar Aviation Group, stated, "This new location is another strategic cornerstone for our growing FBO network as we look to expand beyond the East Coast and Midwest by garnering an important foothold in the West. It is with great pleasure that Stellar accepts the opportunity granted by the RTAA to become a strategic ambassador to all RNO's discerning customers, existing users, and future tenants while introducing them to Stellar's unparalleled service standards and infrastructure development expertise. We intend to provide services and facilities to not only the myriad of users that call, or want to call, RNO their home base, but also the significant transient operators that require such services at this bustling airport."
The Reno-Tahoe International Airport, under strong leadership and management, has grown its infrastructure and services throughout the last decade. The airport currently provides extensive and growing commercial service as well as military and cargo operations. Additionally, RNO hosts a robust and growing GA and corporate aircraft community. The RTAA's Vice President of Airport Economic Development Tina Iftiger stated, "We are pleased to welcome Stellar Aviation to the Reno-Tahoe community as they will bring a wealth of operational experience and innovation to our Airport. We are excited to have them as a partner to further grow and develop our general and corporate aviation sectors, especially as we begin a much needed redevelopment and infrastructure expansion project that will transform our service offerings and support for all of our users from the individual users to our business operators all of whom want to invest in the continued growth of our general aviation community. Together, we look forward to a bright and prosperous future for general and corporate aviation at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport".
"We're excited to see Stellar's continued success and expansion with this strategic expansion at RNO," said Owen Busch, senior vice president of sales for EPIC Fuels, a Signature Aviation company. "We're proud to be a trusted supplier to Stellar, an organization that, like EPIC, provides unsurpassed levels of service and satisfaction to its customers.
