McKinney Air Center Earns High Rankings in New Industry Poll
McKinney Air Center, the fixed-based operator (FBO) at McKinney National Airport, was ranked in the top 20 percent of all FBOs in the Americas and is a top-rated FBO in the South Region by Aviation International News (AIN) in the recently released 2021 AIN FBO Survey.
AIN ranks FBOs in five categories: Line Service, Passenger Amenities, Pilot Amenities, Facilities, and Customer Service Representatives. By category, the McKinney Air Center ranked in the Top 10 percent of FBOs in Line Service.
“It is encouraging to be recognized by AIN as one of the top FBOs in the world in a year when a pandemic ravaged the travel and aviation industry,” said Ken Carley, director of the McKinney National Airport. “This represents the men and women who live out our core values of service and excellence, working tirelessly to make McKinney a preferred destination not only in our region but the country as well.”
Additionally, Customer Service Representative Jenna Emerizy earned special recognition on the “Above and Beyond” list for providing exceptional customer support.
The McKinney Air Center is constructing an FBO terminal at the McKinney National Airport. The new FBO will help the city meet the demands of new businesses pouring into Collin County and the larger Dallas area. It will include build-to-suit office space and covered parking spaces for lease and will open later this year.
