Appleton International Airport Rebrands FBO to Appleton Flight Center

July 23, 2021

Appleton International Airport (ATW) has transitioned management of their FBO from Express Airport Services (EAS) to Appleton Airport and Outagamie County. In addition, the FBO will change its name from Platinum Flight Center to Appleton Flight Center.

This change allows Appleton Airport to tie the FBO into its strong brand, creating opportunities both internally and externally under an umbrella of consistent communications.

“We’ve learned that pilots from all over the world know Appleton,” said Abe Weber, Appleton International Airport director, “We’re fortunate to have well-known aviation brands like Gulfstream and Air Wisconsin here at ATW, and it makes sense to leverage the Appleton name for our general aviation customers.”

Appleton Airport has its own U.S. Customs station, with the capacity to accept international aircraft of up to 20 passengers. Through the rebrand, the airport can more effectively market ATW’s U.S. Customs station, which offers no-fee Customs clearance.

ATW is the primary reliever airport for the EAA AirVenture fly-in, located in Oshkosh, 24 miles south, and expects to welcome more than 500 aircraft during the annual week-long event. More information about Appleton Flight Center can be found at appletonflight.com
