The X-1 Challenge is being launched at this year’s NBAA-BACE in conjunction with X-1 Pilot, the newest addition to the integrated suite of X-1FBO solutions for the general aviation community.
Every pilot has carried a folio full of fuel and credit cards to the front desk so the CSR can pick the “best” one or had to walk back to the aircraft because they forgot a card in the plane. With the X-1 Pilot app, those days are over. In one digital wallet, pilots can store and manage all their payment methods via phone or tablet. To add to their convenience, once an invoice is ready, all pilots have to do is scan a QR code; automatically invoice is paid; a receipt is sent electronically, and the pilot will be on the way to the next stop virtually instantaneously!
The X-1 Challenge Coin
To continue to challenge convention, X-1FBO’s team is combining old traditions with a technological twist by introducing the X-1 Challenge Coin. The coins will be distributed free to crew members who visit X-1FBO at Booth 1453. Crewmembers can register their coin, check out the X-1 Pilot app along with the rest of X-1’s globally used integrated products. The first drawing will be announced live in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 1630. The X-1 Challenge will run until August 2022 with a monthly drawing to reward a CSR and Pilot $500 each. Results will be published to their website every month.
How it works:
1. Receive a coin and download the X-1Pilot App at the show or at any participating FBO after the show. Each coin has a unique ID and barcode to take you to the entry page.
2. To play, present your coin to any FBO staff member in the U.S. so that they can scan and enter the contest OR simply pay using your new X-1Pilot Wallet App for a contest re-entry.
3. Every time the coin is scanned OR your app is used for payment, ALL the coin’s registered participants for that month are re-entered into the drawing.
