Carver Aero out of Aurora, Ill., is being renamed Revv Aviation. And despite the energizing new name, Revv will continue to be the same family-owned company, which offers a full suite of aviation services. Revv’s tagline sums up the company’s passion for flight: “Aviation, from the ground up.”
The new name is also a reflection of the rapid growth of the company, which has added several locations in the last two years with the integration of legacy family businesses, into one group, building a network of full service FBO’s.
Revv provides a full range of aviation services at seven airports in the Midwest, which include flight training, business and personal charter services, freight and medical transport, aircraft maintenance/avionics, aircraft management and sales, as well as FBO services with fueling, storage and pilot services.
Revv operates in the following locations: Aurora, Ill. (KARR), Council Bluffs, Iowa (KCBF), Davenport, Iowa (KDVN), Janesville, Wis. (KJVL), Muscatine, Iowa (KMUT), Schaumburg, Ill. (06C) and Sioux City, Iowa (KSUX). It is expected that several additional locations will be joining Revv this year.
“Imagine a world where small towns are connected, not just by roadways, but also by airways. As we introduce aviation to more people across America’s Heartland, we hope to bring the wonder of flight to communities, business leaders, families, schools and city developers. We want our communities to realize that local airports are resources as well as economic engines for everyone to enjoy,” said Revv President and CEO Guy Lieser. “Airports are like the exit ramp on the highway, and if our towns can attract more flights to land at our FBOs, refuel, get their aircraft maintained, the whole town and region benefits. That attracts more business and that is a win for everyone.”
“Our vision is to be a trusted provider of FBO services for many communities throughout the Midwest and beyond for many decades,” said CL Enterprises Chairman Peter Limberger. “Revv Aviation will build on the legacies of aviation family businesses throughout the Midwest and provide long-term careers and good paying jobs in an expanding industry.”
“Revv Aviation is about bringing aviation to people, if only to visit for the day to see planes take to the sky,” Limberger says. “We believe and invest for the long term in the communities in which we operate. We believe in small town values. We want to bring the excitement of flying to local schools, by bringing kids out to the airport and letting them hop in an airplane. We are working with high schools and colleges, offering apprenticeships and career paths in our businesses.”
