Stellar Aviation Group Commences Three-Phase Expansion at Reno-Tahoe International Airport to Address Growing Demand
Stellar Aviation Group, a leading aviation services company, has announced the commencement of a major expansion project at Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The three-phase project, with an estimated cost of $25 million, will include two new 30,000 square foot hangars, over 10,000 square feet of office space, and a 5,000 square foot executive terminal.
Brad Kost, chief operating officer of Stellar Aviation Group, stated that "this new state-of-the-art facility will complement our existing facilities in Reno and provide a modern gateway for all valuable airport users and economic partners in this fast-growing market."
The first phase of the expansion is expected to be completed and open for business by spring of next year, providing a crucial boost to the local economy by creating over 100 jobs. The new facilities will allow Stellar to meet the growing demand for hangar space and aviation services in the Reno area. Daren Griffin, CEO of the Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority, emphasized the importance of the expansion, stating that "all companies moving into the region have aviation needs and Stellar is an important part of meeting that need."
The expansion at Reno-Tahoe International Airport is a significant milestone for Stellar Aviation Group, as the company plans to continue to expand its operations in Nevada. In addition to the Reno project, Stellar is also planning to establish a new facility at Carson City Airport. With a strong commitment to customer service and safety, Stellar is well-positioned to meet the growing demand for aviation services in the region and beyond.
Stellar Aviation Group has been operating its facility at Reno-Tahoe International Airport since January 2020, and the organization also operates FBOs in Springfield, Illinois (Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport) and West Palm Beach, Florida (Palm Beach County Park Airport).
