Paragon Aviation Group Advances FBO Safety with Strategic Partnerships
Along with quality, reliability, value, and service, safety is one of the five pillars Paragon Aviation Group considers imperative for their FBOs to possess. Each of their FBO and handling locations maintain NATA Safety 1st Certified status, IS-BAH Certified status, or uphold an equivalent program certification.
To show their unwavering commitment to safety, Paragon has continued to fund the safety program Online Safety Officer (OSO) for all of their FBOs worldwide for the past two years. The OSO Program, spearheaded by aviation consultancy FBO Partners, provides consistent, industry-leading safety communication, training, and regulatory compliance through their monthly safety meetings. Regardless of the FBO’s size, staffing level, or stage of SMS, FBO Partners offers a complete framework for an effective safety promotion and communication program meeting several IS-BAH and SMS requirements.
Through Paragon’s exclusive vendor program, Strategic Partners, they also work with another top safety company – Polaris Aero. Founded in 2007, Polaris Aero provides intelligence software to simplify and streamline safety for line personnel, safety managers, and operation management. Their VOCUS cloud-based platform apps offer comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) e-learning, advanced risk assessment, and next-generation safety management systems.
As the SMS for Clay Lacy Aviation, Polaris is an important partner in Clay Lacy meeting the new standards of the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) SMS Voluntary Program. Clay Lacy joins the top 2% of U.S. Part 135 operators that have successfully completed and adopted a safety culture. Clay Lacy’s California FBOs at John Wayne Airport (KSNA) and Van Nuys Airport (KVNY) are both in The Paragon Network.
“Paragon’s emphasis on safety is an investment in our members’ success, and the consistent, safe handling of customers and their assets when visiting a Paragon Member,” said Megan Barnes, President of Paragon Aviation Group. “I want to ensure that our members have the support they need not only to remain in compliance, but ensure their teams’ training requirements are met. As our network continues to grow, we’re proud to partner with industry safety leaders like FBO Partners, Polaris Aero, and Clay Lacy Aviation.”
The Paragon Network is a distinguished membership of over 90 elite FBOs and international handling agents that provide world-class service to general aviation travelers around the globe. Paragon Aviation Group performs a comprehensive audit of the facilities and services offered to ensure the quality of the member base before any FBO joins The Paragon Network. Each member FBO must comply with a set of strategically developed core standards to remain in the group. Paragon Aviation Group facilitates The Paragon Network.
Paragon Aviation Group is a family business comprised of Mike Delk, Megan Barnes, and Molly LeBlanc. With their combined industry experience of over 85 years, they have introduced an exciting industry platform for premier aviation service providers.
