Standard Aviation Wins Member Vote as CAA Preferred on St. Thomas
By recent vote of the Corporate Aircraft Association (CAA) Fuel Program Members, Standard Aviation was confirmed for renewal as the preferred fixed-base operator (FBO) at Cyril E. King Airport on St. Thomas. This exclusive three-year contract went into effect April 1, based on members voting for their preferred locations at the airports which they regularly visit. CAA also recommends members only vote on locations which they have been to recently.
Standard Aviation Director of Operations Chris Curreri said, “We brought CAA to the field six years ago and are honored by the outpouring of positive feedback, proving once again, we have the best facility and service.”
Voted No. 1 FBO in the Caribbean last year in the Professional Pilot magazine PRASE survey, Standard Aviation continues to receive honors and accolades since opening its luxury facility in July 2020. It was one of the first locations awarded Everest S.A.F.E. certification and consistently has the highest ratings at TIST on websites such as AirNav.com. Each team member at Standard Aviation has undergone service culture training as part of the Air Elite network, to confidently provide superior customer service.
“Our Standard Aviation team is keenly focused on a positive client experience, safety and expediency,” said Curreri. “We are elated to continue serving CAA members visiting the Virgin Islands.”
