Melissa Morgan Appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Banyan Air Service
Banyan Air Service proudly announces the promotion of Melissa Morgan to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Effective immediately, Melissa steps into her new role following the retirement of Jim Barcel, the company's respected former CFO.
Melissa brings over twenty-six years of rich experience in accounting and financial management to her new position. As a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), she has an extensive background working in diverse industries, including construction, logistics, manufacturing, and now aviation. Since joining Banyan in 2018 as Controller, Melissa has played a pivotal role in streamlining financial processes and enhancing operational efficiencies. Her promotion to CFO is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and deep understanding of the aviation industry's financial landscape.
Prior to joining Banyan, Melissa served as a controller for a prominent manufacturing and distribution company in Florida, where she honed her skills in financial strategy and operations management. Her career also includes seven years in public accounting in Nevada, where she earned her CPA license in 2002. Melissa is a proud alumna of Florida Atlantic University, where she obtained her degree in accounting.
"We are excited to welcome Melissa into her new role as CFO," said Don Campion, President of Banyan Air Service. “Her expertise not only aligns with our strategic goals but also reinforces our commitment to excellence and leadership in the aviation industry."
