World Fuel Services and PFM Deliver System Integration to Provide Business Aircraft Safer, More Accurate Scheduling
Orlando, Florida (November 2, 2016) – Today, World Fuel Services (WFS) and Professional Flight Management (PFM) announced the general release of their flight operation system integration. The release connects World Fuel | Colt’s Trip Support platform with PFM’s Flight Department Management System to save time, eliminate duplicate data entry and enhance security.
By connecting to WFS’ extensive business aviation planning data, PFM users can do research inside PFM with World Fuel | Colt’s real-time database. This saves significant time compared to manual internet research. PFM users can also use Online Flight Planning’s (OFP™) route technology to build schedules based on calculated flight routes, a more accurate process that creates better options for executive travel.

Corporate operators no longer have to provide trip requirements via email, form or phone. With a simple click, the schedule and requirements are transferred directly into World Fuel | Colt’s system. Errors from reentering data or translating requirements are eliminated. In addition, sensitive passenger plans and information are only relayed through a highly secure direct connection, maintaining confidentiality.
From scheduling to real-time international flight monitoring, the new PFM interface also provides users increased visibility over the end-to-end process. Schedules are researched and built from PFM, pushing requirements to World Fuel | Colt’s Trip Support. As services and legs are updated, they can monitor a trip’s progress. This integration ensures 100% transparency and provides the ability to actively QC the trip, resulting in fewer challenges and safer trips.
