NAS to Handle Initial Uganda Airlines Flights

On August 28, Uganda Airlines will launch its commercial flights with an inaugural flight to Kenya’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi.

As Uganda Airlines prepares to resurrect service later this month, a report from The Observer notes National Aviation Services (NAS) will be in charge of ground handling for the airline.

According to The Observer, Uganda Airlines signed a one-year contract with NAS, and Uganda Airlines CEO Ephraim Bagyenda hopes the airline can build enough capacity to eventually self-handle its flights.

Uganda Airlines is scheduled to resume commercial flights for the first time in 17 years on Aug. 28.
