As the aviation industry continues to work through the COVID-19 pandemic, ground handling providers at Cochin International Airport Ltd (Cial) are facing difficulties.
According to a report by the Times of India, ground service providers at Cial face unemployment after the airport suspended international flights.
The report also states employees have been asked to go on leave while other cost-cutting steps could lead to layoffs and other measures.
