GAT Airline Ground Support Wins Contracts with JetBlue, WestJet
GAT Airline Ground Support announced new contracts secured in July.
According to announcements made on its website, GAT won a passenger handling services contract with JetBlue Airways while its subsidiary Sky Cafe was awarded a catering contract with WestJet Airlines.
GAT's contract with JetBlue will see the company provide passenger handling services, implemented in phases throughout September and October, at Albany International Airport (ALB), Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX), Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ), Sacramento International Airport (SMF) and Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR).
Sky Cafe's catering contract with WestJet is for all Q400 and B737 flights across Canada at airports in Halifax, Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, Regina, Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, Kelowna and Vancouver (warehouse only).
The announcement states these services will start in mid-September with Q400 flights and then the 737 flights starting in late September and into October.
