SATS Taps Growing Private Jet Market with Personalized Lounge and Passenger Services

Singapore, June 11, 2019 – SATS Ltd. (SATS), Asia’s leading provider of Food Solutions and Gateway Services, today unveiled the Business Aviation Centre (BAC) at Seletar Airport.

BAC is managed by SATS Seletar Aviation Services Pte Ltd (SSAS), a joint venture company SATS formed with Jet Aviation and Universal Aviation.

The number of flights for business aviation is expected to grow 3-5 percent year on year. To date, SSAS handled more than 4,000 flight movements since its first flight at Seletar Airport on Nov. 19, 2018, of which close to 70 percent are attributed to business aviation.

Passenger services at BAC are personalized to meet the unique needs of the private jet customers for discretion, privacy and speed. Purposefully designed to ease passengers’ seamless passage through the airport, the process of baggage handling, security check and immigration clearance can be facilitated swiftly in the comfort of the tastefully furnished BAC lounge.

Harnessing SATS’ culinary innovation and expertise, private jet travelers can also be treated to fine-dining in the skies, special dietary meals, express laundry services and even a personal shopper as part of our premium offerings.
