The successful IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) audit of Menzies Aviation took place last week.
The ISAGO program is an internationally agreed-upon set of standards centrally managed by IATA. By maintaining ISAGO standards, Menzies Aviation commits to operate according to globally-accepted industry best practices. This was Menzie's first audit under a new 6th edition of ISAGO standards, and the first audit to verify ISAGO’s new edition.
Auditors from KLM and Air Transat conducted a full-scope audit, assessing Menzies Aviation’s organization and management, including all operational processes and procedures such as load control, passenger and baggage handling, aircraft handling, loading and ground movement, and cargo operations.
