Menzies Aviation in Los Angeles (LAX) has been awarded two new contracts with major airlines Air China and Hong Kong Airlines.
Both are three year contracts which began operations in September.
The Air China deal sees Menzies providing ramp services, in addition to the cargo warehousing and freighter handling services already provided to Air China Cargo at LAX. The airline operate 24 weekly flights from LAX, which adds over 1,200 flights per year to our operations at the airport.
Hong Kong Airlines awarded Menzies LAX with the contract to provide both ramp and cabin cleaning services for their daily A350 from Hong Kong International Airport.
Paul Walton, SVP Sales and Commercial Operations Americas, said: “It’s great to see that our service provision at LAX is expanding, and that is a testament to the hard work and dedication from both our team on the ground and the commercial team working hard to gain these new contracts. Our reputation is clearly growing for quality of service and our attitude of excellence from touchdown to takeoff. Thanks to everyone for their great work.”
