Menzies Aviation has received a UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) Gold Award for its outstanding support for the Armed Forces. The rare honor of achieving the Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Gold Award is testament to the company’s commitment to Defence and the Armed Forces Community, and its ongoing pledge to align its values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
This accolade confirms its forces-friendly credentials and true commitment to support and champion veterans, reserves and cadets through recruitment, charitable initiatives and workplace support.
Juliet Thomson, chief people officer, Menzies Aviation, said: “Aviation has a deep-rooted military history and at Menzies we recognize the valuable skill set that armed forces personnel can and do offer to our sector. We are deeply honored by this recognition, just one year after receiving the Silver Award in 2022, and pledge to continue honoring and supporting the Armed Forces community.”
