The National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (Sunat) certified Talma, a leading company in airport services, belonging to the Sandoval Group, as an authorized economic operator (AEO) due to its operational excellence, its important logistical work, its high security standards and its correct financial management.
The airport services company obtained this recognition after accrediting a satisfactory track record of compliance with current regulations, an adequate system of accounting and logistics records for the traceability of operations, financial solvency and an outstanding level of security, which has allowed and continues to allow its customers, both direct and indirect, to send and receive their products reliably and without worries.
"This certification will allow us to further streamline all the procedures and steps necessary for the entry and exit of goods from our importing and exporting customers. This recognition reflects our commitment to strengthen Peruvian foreign trade and accompany customs in its work of promoting and supervising it," said Arturo Cassinelli, corporate general manager of Talma.
The AEO is a foreign trade operator or intervening operator, certified and endorsed by Sunat. Certification allows service providers to simplify controls and procedures, streamlining international trade logistics chain without undermining security processes.
So far this year, Talma has received about 50 million kilograms of imported goods and about 40 million kilograms of export cargo. In addition, Talma reinforces its commitment to promote the professionalization of foreign trade by becoming one of the first temporary air warehouses authorized as AEOs at the national level.
