NAS Colossal Aviation Services (NCAS), with the help of Ink Innovation, a travel technology provider, is streamlining its handling processes. NCAS will use Ink’s Departure Control System (DCS) to serve airline customers at O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, South Africa,
The planned go-live will see NCAS using the system in daily operations within three weeks. Ink provides a multi-channel solution, enabling NCAS to use the desktop and mobile DCS across their operation – helping to enhance flexibility, simplify load control calculation and allow passengers to check in online.
“In evaluating and selecting a DCS solution, we focused on industry knowledge, committed support and value proposition. Ink DCS provided NCAS with all of this. Their approach to accommodating challenging implementation timelines is very professional. With Ink DCS, we can accommodate not only current but also future clients. Accessibility is key, and the Ink mobile solution will give us even more flexibility to better serve our customers,” said Pieter Calitz, IT Manager NAS Colossal Aviation Services.
The NCAS team will achieve faster time-to-value thanks to the short training requirements and ease of adoption of Ink DCS.
"We are delighted to welcome NCAS to the Ink community of airlines, airports and ground handlers. Our suite of innovative solutions will support NCAS’s long-term growth plans by helping deliver unrivalled experiences for passengers and making it easier for them to attract new airline customers,” said Blaine Powell, Chief Sales Officer, Ink.
