Helvetic Airways is changing the ground handling provider at its home airport, Zurich Airport.
As of April 1, 2022, Swissport will provide all ground handling services for all under Helvetic Airways. Swissport's services include passenger services (check-in, lounge, gate, lost & found) to ramp handling (baggage sorting & handling, aircraft cleaning, pushback, towing and deicing).
The cooperation between the Swiss regional airline and Swissport started at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg as early as 2021 and will now be extended to Zurich Airport as of the summer timetable 2022 and, if necessary, to Geneva-Cointrin Airport at a later date.
