TAG Macau FBO announces its successful completion of the IS-BAH Stage 3 audit, solidifying its position as a leader in the business aviation ground handling industry. This accreditation makes TAG Macau FBO one of the youngest FBOs globally to attain this prestigious recognition.
The International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) is a globally recognized set of best practices for business aviation ground handlers. The SMS component allows an IS-BAH registered FBO/BAHA to gain recognition for having in place a well-founded safety management development process. Maturity of the FBO/BAHA’s SMS is a critical factor in the long-term recognition of the effective use of industry best practices that conform to ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices.
It emphasizes the implementation of a robust safety management system (SMS). Aligned with the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Program and incorporating the NATA Safety 1st Ground Audit Program, IS-BAH has become the industry standard for handlers and operators worldwide.
TAG Macau FBO began its journey towards the IS-BAH accreditation in 2019, initially achieving Stage 1 registration. Building upon this accomplishment, the FBO obtained Stage 2 accreditation in January 2022, further demonstrating its commitment to operational safety and efficiency.
With the accredited Stage 3 Audit, TAG Macau FBO has proven its adherence to the highest industry standards, showcasing its dedication to excellence in safety management and service delivery. This milestone highlights the FBO's investment in training, infrastructure, and technology to provide an exceptional experience for its customers.
"We are thrilled to have achieved IS-BAH Stage 3, making TAG Macau FBO one of the youngest FBO to reach this pinnacle," said Rita Tam, general manager at TAG Macau FBO. "This accomplishment reflects our team's pursuit of excellence and unwavering commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. We extend our gratitude to our loyal customers and dedicated employees who both played a vital role in this achievement."
Terry Yeomans, IS-BAH Program Director said, “Congratulations to the entire team at TAG Macau for achieving IS-BAH Stage 3. This outstanding accomplishment means that TAG Macau have voluntarily chosen to implement functional and effective safety management activities into their daily operations and have evidence of a sustained positive safety culture."
