The Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Coalition welcomed 10 new companies and organizations involved in the development and deployment of SAF into its membership, bringing its total count to more than 50. Those joining the coalition include recognized leaders in energy, aviation, aerospace and SAF production.
Since its founding in April 2024, the nonprofit, nonpartisan coalition has leveraged the collective strength of the SAF value chain to advocate for the incentives and policies necessary to promote U.S. economic competitiveness in the emerging SAF marketplace and rapidly scale investment in the SAF sector. Its membership is comprised of airlines and aircraft operators, agricultural enterprises, aircraft and aircraft equipment manufacturers, airports, technology developers, labor unions, and biofuel producers.
“We are excited to welcome this additional group of leading companies and organizations into our coalition,” said Alison Graab, executive director of the SAF Coalition. “The expansion of our membership shows the deep and growing support that SAF enjoys across many stakeholders. Together, we will continue advocating for federal policies that support and increase SAF production.”
The SAF Coalition supports policies that will expand the supply of low-carbon, commercially competitive SAF; enhance U.S. economic competitiveness in the SAF marketplace; develop a robust and competitive market for SAF; and create jobs while increasing U.S. fuel production and innovation. The Coalition’s 10 new members include:
