International ground handling, aircraft fuel supply and logistics service provider Baltic Ground Services (BGS) has recently signed an agreement with the Danish airline group DAT.
The agreement covers into-plane fueling services at the Kaunas International Airport in Lithuania. The new contract entered into force on May 1, 2024 and will last a year.
“The volume of services we provide at our stations is growing. Kaunas is no exception – the high quality standard we have set there is acknowledged by airlines. We are ready to keep the bar high and continue delivering the same level of service to both new and existing clients,” said Vitalis Dudys, the BGS Group’s head of commerce.

This agreement ensures that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, especially during the high-demand summer season. DAT, founded in 1989, began its operations in Denmark and established the airline DAT LT at Kaunas Airport in 2003.
Initially operating as a cargo airline, today DAT offers chartered flights and ACMI services worldwide.
BGS is part of the Avia Solutions Group – the world’s largest ACMI service company group, which operates a fleet of 213 aircraft. Companies belonging to the group also provide a variety of other aviation services, such as aircraft repair, pilot and crew training, and ground handling.
