July 25, 2024
This achievement consolidates the company's integrated airport services in Ecuador, including ground handling, passenger services, flight dispatch and online maintenance.

Talma, a leading airport services company in Latin America and a member of Grupo Sandoval, specifically its subsidiary in Ecuador, has been granted an Approved Maintenance Organization Certificate (OMA 084), by Ecuador's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC), in recognition of the organization's operational excellence.

“Obtaining certification for the Cuenca, El Coca, Manta, San Cristobal and Baltra (Galapagos Islands) stations, enables us to provide aircraft maintenance services to our customers, thus ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency," said Vladimir Muñoz, executive director of Talma Ecuador.

It should be noted that in 2023, Talma Ecuador obtained this certificate for the Guayaquil and Quito stations, now enabling it to provide online maintenance services at all stations where it operates.

This significant achievement consolidates the company's integrated airport services in Ecuador, including ground handling, passenger services, flight dispatch and online maintenance.

“We are extremely proud to receive this certification for all Talma Ecuador stations. This milestone confirms that our airport services meet the highest international standards, accrediting us as leaders in the sector in our country and in Latin America," said Muñoz.
