Menzies Aviation, a leading service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, has announced that its inaugural ‘Allies in Aviation’ employability training session will be held at its London HQ next week.
Held in collaboration with Tent UK, the event is designed to help individuals from displaced communities find meaningful employment in the aviation sector. It will give attendees the opportunity to gain insights on preparing an effective CV, advice and support in applying for roles and a chance to practice interview techniques. By focusing on practical advice and real-world examples, the event aims to empower individuals to confidently pursue and secure employment in the aviation sector.
The ‘Allies in Aviation’ event is run in partnership with Tent UK, a network of more than 70 major companies that are committed to hiring refugees across the country and helping them become job-ready. Menzies Aviation is a global member of the Tent Partnership for Refugees (Tent), and of its national coalition Tent UK. Menzies Aviation first joined Tent in 2022 and has set a target of recruiting refugees equivalent to 1 percent of its global workforce by 2026.
