Toyota Material Handling Europe has introduced its new Toyota Traigo48 range of electric counterbalanced forklifts. With three and four-wheel models available in various sizes, the Traigo48 range is tailored to excel in loading, unloading, stacking, and horizontal transport. The forklifts feature load capacities from 1.5 to 2.0 tons, with lift heights up to 7.5 meters and a maximum speed of up to 20 km/h. The Traigo48 range is available with flexible battery options, including conventional lead-acid (LAB) batteries and lithium-ion (LIB) batteries, as well as a side chassis panel door for quick battery exchanges. There’s also an IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) synchronous motor for traction, SyncoDrive to reduce energy consumption, and advanced controllers for load-handling operations. The electric counterbalanced Traigo_i model has an integrated lithium-ion battery, and an easy-access charging port integrated into the counterweight. This design also features a space-saving configuration, providing extra legroom. The operator compartment on both models has features like a smaller steering wheel, an adjustable steering column, an integrated color touchscreen display, and a new armrest with choice of levers. The full-floating driver compartment, mounted on four suspended dampers, reduces vibrations.
