The 2019 edition of inter airport Europe is a mere two months away. The event will take place Oct. 8-11 at the Munich Trade Fair in Munich, Germany.
According to event organizers, stand space has been secured by more than 500 exhibitors from over 30 countries, including Germany, France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, China, Spain, Sweden and Austria.
The show profile of inter airport Europe comprises four exhibition categories: interRAMP (ground support equipment), interTERMINAL (technical terminal installations and services), interDATA (IT solutions for the modern, interactive airport) and interDESIGN (architecture and furnishings). Exhibitors will present solutions and ideas for the equipment of terminal buildings, the design and planning stage, the latest ground support equipment as well as airport IT systems, all in one place.
As inter airport Europe 2019 approaches, let’s take a look at some of the featured equipment that will be on display.

ITW GSE 7400 eGPU (Mark II)
The battery-powered ITW GSE 7400 eGPU is ideal for gates and hangars with no fixed 400 Hz installations. This battery powered ground power unit is a game changer in the ongoing quest for lowering the environmental impact of airports.
JBT Corporation (Booth E66 and F60)
JetAire M60 Pre-Conditioned Mobile Air Unit
The JetAire M60 mobile pre-conditioned air unit offers savings as the APU can be shut down. It keeps passengers comfortable as minimal defrost is required, has excellent capacity control and advanced de-humidification. The unit provides a flexible configuration, using bridge mounted point-of-use, stand mounted designs, and it offers an electric or diesel powered cart. The unit is flexible in sizing as multiple tonnages are available. JBT is also introducing the LEKTRO electric-powered towbarless tractors as part of the JBT GSE family, following the company purchase earlier this year.

GS Planning Staff & Equipment
INFORM is providing demos of a major enhancement on one of its key software solutions for the aviation business. The new version of INFORM’s planning solution GS Planning Staff & Equipment enables plans to be created on monthly intervals. Planners will no longer have to create multiple weekly scenarios and manually merge them in order to plan for a longer period. The enhanced solution, when combined with the planner’s experience, expertise and strategic know-how, is helping to pave the way for optimum results.

High-Pressure Blowers
The 1200, 1600 and 2200 series of high-pressure blowers were developed for use in pre-conditioned air service carts, primarily for military applications. The 1200 and 1600 series blowers were specifically designed as drop-in replacements for legacy designs, as well as, new cart/packages. These can be used in both mobile and stationary applications. The 1200 and 1600 blowers have the ability to achieve 8+ psi, while the 2200 is capable of 20+ psi.
Cla-Val Company (Hall B6, Booth 671)
E-Manual App
Developed as a maintenance and training tool for operations personnel, this innovative new app enables the user to electronically configure Cla-Val Ground Fueling Products; create and then interact with 3D models; see an exploded view of the product; and determine the recommended spare parts and repair kit for their configuration. Demonstrations of the app will be presented by the company's Global Ground Fueling Team at the inter airport Europe exhibition at the Cla-Val booth (Hall B6, Booth 671).

SkyMark Refuelers (Hall B6, Booth 140)
Hydrant Dispenser
SkyMark’s team, which has been building aircraft refuelers and dispensers for more than 30 years, and exports worldwide to military and commercial refueling companies, will display its Hydrant Dispenser. The 1000 GPM, JIG compliant dispenser includes a high lift platform with pantograph, hydraulic intake rail and is situated atop an Isuzu GCC compliant auto chassis. With facilities in both Kansas City and Findlay, Ohio, and a team of international support engineers, the company's equipment complies with rigorous international standards, such as JIG 12, ATA 103, NFPA 407, DOT 406 and current JIG bulletins for systems such as water detection and DP correction.

JetGo 900 Ground Power Unit
The JetGo 900 utilizes modern production methods and materials, an all-new futuristic design, active aircraft safety features and strong reliable performance to ensure that the JetGo 900 will be the dominant choice for 28V DC power requirements. This GPU incorporates the highest continuous amperage in its class along with superior, safe starting amperage from the hybrid design. Standard ‘breakaway’ output cables, LED floodlights, active overvolt protection systems and OptiTune fine voltage adjustment ensures that this unit will be suitable and safe for every 28V DC aircraft. AERO Specialties will also display its hydraulic power units, which offer advanced aircraft safety features and electrical soft start to extend motor life.

Spacer 250 and 400
Mototok Spacers are electrically operated, remote-controlled tugs for pushback and MRO/FBO operations, allowing for more safety, punctuality and maximum efficiency. The new Mototok Spacer 250 and 400 are a seamless addition to the successful Spacer series. With the new Spacer 250 users can move narrow- and wide-bodies up to an MTOW of 250 tons safely and efficiently. With the Mototok Spacer 400 users can even maneuver narrow- and wide-bodies up to an MTOW of 400 tons – up to the Boeing 777-200LR. The Mototok Spacer 250 is now available, the Spacer 400 is expected to be tested and ordered in spring 2020.

The company's new FAMA solution (Fleet Asset Management for Airport), is a global connected solution adaptable to any motorized GSE fleet in order to digitalize, in real time, all operator and equipment activities. With hands-free access control, indoor and outdoor tracking, speed limitation and vehicle technical data, users can monitor operations, improve safety on the ground, predict maintenance as well as reduce cost aiming at optimizing the fleet. With Adveez's Localeez web application, users can customize the interface to generate alerts, reports and recommend optimizations. The standardized filter/water separator is fully qualified against specification EI 1581 6th Edition, Category C, Type S-M. The vessel is now fully qualified for Category M military applications. Comparatively lighter and smaller than a FWS with 6” coalescer elements, other features include easier maintenance, six standard models held in inventory for shortened delivery times and proven technology.

Transfer Belt
Throughput can be increased with Power Stow´s ergonomic unloading aid. It offers innovation for easier, more productive and faster unloading of baggage and cargo at airports worldwide. The Transfer Belt is designed to transfer bags from various types of containers and carts onto the conveyor belt. Using the Transfer Belt significantly reduces baggage handlers´ workload. Water Separator WSS4
Fluid monitoring normally is done during C-checks at an interval of one year or less. A high water concentration can result in hidden damages because corrosion is difficult to localize and expensive to repair. Connect the Water Separator WSS4 in the course of routine maintenance activities in the return line between A/C and a hydraulic ground power unit, and extract water from hydraulic fluids in any aircraft. Avoid expensive oil changes and prolong the life of the hydraulic medium. AIRBUS certified and Boeing NTO on request.

400 Hz Multi to Single Jacket Transition (TSM) Connector
Transitioning from single jacket cable to multi conductor cable is now possible with the TSM connector from Anderson Airmotive Products Co. This connector can transition 6 around 1 single jacket cable to individual conductor cables for power and auxiliary while providing flexibility of switches and LEDs to provide the user with safety and ease of use. This product is a true extension of the company's existing Attachable Power Nose configuration and provides for a cost effective and modular approach to completing a single jacket to multi-conductor transition. Other offerings include the modular attachable Power Nose (APN) as well as battery sockets, cable assemblies and receptacles.

Comet E Series
The new range of MULAG electric airport tractors meets professional demands for high availability, great agility and low maintenance costs. The Comet 3E is suited for baggage handling with its 20 kN drawbar pull and a dead weight of 3.7t while driving up to 30 km/h. The heavier Comet 4E has a dead weight of 4.7t and is able to handle baggage and light cargo. Rounding out the product range is the Comet 6E with a dead weight of 6.5t, a powerful two-circuit regenerative break system and heavy duty axles well suited for demanding cargo applications.

Suite of Boarding Ramps
Aviramp will be featuring its full suite of boarding ramps and bridges. The boarding solutions are designed for all passengers and are particularly effective for passengers with reduced mobility (PRM). It offers an all-inclusive, dignified experience and reduces the need for ambulift deployment. Aviramp has also announced that due to increasing demand, the UK-based company has established a US office in Houston, Texas, with plans to open a manufacturing plant in the near future to streamline production, assembly, quality control and delivery processes.
