ANA First Airline in Japan to Use Robotic Loader, Conduct Unmanned Tests of Automated Towing Tractor

All Nippon Airways (ANA) is the first airline in Japan to use a robotic loader and to conduct unmanned tests of an automated towing tractor for baggage transportation.
ANA tested the technology at Kyushu Saga International Airport Dec. 14-18. The company partnered with Toyota Industries to prove advanced autonomous devices can be implemented in airports. ANA plans to further develop and commercialize this technology for regular airport use.
