On Supplier Day 2019, organized by the LSG Group (LSG Lufthansa Service Holding AG), the first prize in the Global Partnership category was awarded to DOLL Fahrzeugbau GmbH.
Renato Ramella, managing director at DOLL Fahrzeugbau GmbH, accepted the award at the ceremony held on Nov. 7 in Cologne, to which the LSG Group had invited 65 of its most important suppliers.
"I am delighted that our long-standing partnership has been honored with this prestigious award," he said. "What's more, we took the opportunity this year to conclude a framework agreement with the LSG Group. This raises our level of cooperation to new heights and sends a clear signal that we are LSG's number one catering-truck provider in Europe."
The framework agreement in question provides for the supply of several units per year over several years. These units mainly include catering trucks with half cabs, used by the LSG Group in numerous applications ranging from short and medium-haul to wide-body aircraft.
"With a transfer height of up to six meters, our trucks can be used for an estimated 90 percent of all common aircraft types worldwide," explained Volker Ott, key account manager at DOLL. "In the European LSG Europe Industrial division, our status has been upgraded to Preferred Supplier."
With the volumes agreed upon in the framework agreement, LSG is supplementing or renewing its own fleet of more than 2,000 high-loaders worldwide.
