SEI Industries’ Bulk Aviation Transport Tank (BATT) is a collapsible, double-walled, baffled fabric tank that enables users to safely transport bulk fuel to remote sites via aircraft. Winner of four technology awards, the BATT reduces hauling costs thanks to its ability to be rolled up and easily carried on the return flight out, freeing up cargo space for other items. The BATT is available in a variety of sizes, from single Otter aircraft to the much larger Boeing 737. Utilized by a number of countries, BATTs are currently operating in the South Sudan, Congo and Mali under the United Nations flag.
