New Owner/Operator Purchases Hercules Engine Components
Massillon, Ohio, April 17, 2015 - Hercules Engine Components, LLC ("Hercules") is pleased to announce the completion of a successful ownership transfer, with Douglas Brinkley acquiring the company from its previous owners and founders, Jack Dienes and Bruce Weick. Hercules is an exclusive distributor of industrial engine components, a provider of engine remanufacturing services, and a refurbisher of flight line ground support equipment.
The acquisition comes as a result of the previous owners' desire to seek new ownership to drive growth and build upon a well-earned reputation of superior customer service. The previous owners will be retiring and are succeeded by Douglas Brinkley.
Jack Dienes, who has led the company since its formation in 1999, said, "I have had the opportunity to work closely with Doug over the past year through our sales process, and I believe he has the combination of energy, drive, and skills not only to succeed, but to significantly grow the Hercules business. I am confident I am leaving Hercules in very strong hands."
Douglas Brinkley commented, "Throughout the diligence process, I have been continually impressed by the quality of the employees and their deep commitment to satisfying customer needs. Jack and Bruce have built a strong business and I am thrilled to be taking it over. I will work tirelessly alongside the Hercules team to build on its reputation for excellence and leverage its strengths to drive growth."
Financing was provided by Stearns Bank, NA and the Small Business Administration. Jack Dienes and Bruce Weick were represented by Empire Business Associates, LLC.
