Data. Everyone Wants It. Nobody Uses it.

March 18, 2014
There are many easy and inexpensive options for collecting data.

You hear a lot of ramp stories about electric tractors:

  • “It runs for an hour and dies.”
  • “We use this tractor 18 hours per day.”
  • “We charge it every night.”
  • “We water every battery every week.”

LOL, right? One of my favorite quotes: “In God we trust, everyone else needs data.”

So shouldn’t you know what’s really going on? When do you really use the vehicle?  Is the battery being charged properly?  Discharged properly? Is the battery being watered?  Even GPS tracking to answer the question, WHERE IS MY VEHICLE?!

There are many easy and inexpensive options for collecting data. These are small modules that install in minutes and collect the information you need to properly manage your fleet. The newest (and more expensive) versions are real-time and accessible anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

Electric tractors offer the most economical option for GSE. Know the truth and make sure you’re getting your money’s worth!
