For ground handling, the use of SOTI MobiControl means Fraport AG can optimise the planning, communication and location of the shuttle buses used by the ground control team.
In the past, shuttle drivers were told via radio that a delivery shuttle was needed, meaning that all drivers would rush to their vehicles. With SOTI MobiControl, Fraport AG can communicate with the driver who is closest to the location to tell them that they need to pick up ground handling staff. This has resulted in a huge increase in the efficiency and speed of transporting staff, as well as saving fuel.
