INFORM, a global aviation software solutions provider based in Aachen, Germany, leverages AI-driven digital decision support capability to empower aviation businesses to respond to the industry’s complex, highly dynamic operations environment. INFORM will be showcasing its GroundStar suite of products which include GS Planning, GS WorkforcePlus and GS RealTime Staff and Equipment at the upcoming 35th Annual IATA Ground Handling Conference.
The event, which is being held on May 16-18, 2023, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center in the United Arab Emirates will focus on Embracing Technology to drive efficiency and improved operational performance in the aviation industry.
INFORM has invited its partner HiSERV to jointly exhibit their solution at Booth #32. HiSERV is a GSE solutions provider that serves its customers by providing the use, maintenance, and tracking of over 5,000 GSE units in 30 airports world-wide. INFORM’s GroundStar suite of products enables HiSERV to meet customer demands by leveraging day-of operational resource management technologies including predictive maintenance. In attendance will be Uschi Schulte-Sasse, INFORM’s senior vice president aviation and Roland Ückert, HiSERV’s managing director.
“Success in the aviation industry starts on the ground,” Schulte-Sasse states.
“Having the best resources at the right place, at the right time is essential to ensuring our partners consistently deliver the best possible efficient performance for their customers” she continued. “Our industry is dynamic and fraught with disruptions that can impact cost, performance, and ultimately customer experience. Fortunately, our AI-powered, digital decision support solutions help our customers detect potential disruptions early and allow them to quickly mitigate those issues should they arise,” she concludes. “We are proud to help companies like HiSERV by providing them with solutions to help them navigate these challenges.”
Among the solutions to be displayed at the conference is INFORM’s GS Planning tool which provides airports, airlines, and ground handlers robust scenario-based workload and resource demand forecasting. GS Planning enables INFORM’s partners to quantify resource requirements including personnel and GSE far in advance of upcoming schedules. GS WorkforcePlus provides tactical employee resource management decision support which includes scheduling of flexible shifts, digital employee engagement, short-term personnel management, and the integration of employee processes from vacation planning to real-time scheduling and time recording. Lastly, INFORM will also highlight its GS RealTime Staff & Equipment tool which leverages hybrid AI, operations research, and advanced optimization to ensure the success of the day-of execution in even the most challenging operations environments.
