The TPS 5800 Towable Passenger Stairs is designed for servicing aircraft with door sill heights between 2.45 to 5.80 m. Based on a hot dip galvanized chassis, the unit has an 5, 7 m. minimum turning radius and can be towed at speeds up to 15 km/h. The stairs extend telescopically. The hydraulic equipment is powered by petrol engine with an electric starter. Other features include hydraulically operated height adjustment and stabilizers. Stair lighting powered by a 12 V DC 60 Ah batteries.
