Aircraft jacks specialist, Tangye, is announcing new lightweight and portable jacks on stand C68 at GSE Expo Europe in Lisbon. The new jacks include a 40 tonne model together with an enhanced 100 tonne jack for handling larger aircraft. Tangye jacks are an essential part of the services provided by many line ,aintenance, ‘aircraft on ground’ and MRO companies.
Designed and manufactured in the UK by Allspeeds Ltd, the Tangye range of lightweight, aluminium jacks are used to support aircraft axles during wheel inspection and changes. The compact, hand portable, jacks are designed to lift, lower, manoeuvre and position heavy loads with minimum effort and maximum safety. They are especially suited to MLG and NLG applications in busy airports where a rapid turnaround is needed.
Tangye Hydramite jacks with capacities up to 15 tonne and Tangye Hydralite jacks with capacities up to 100 tonne are part of the axle jack and flyaway axle jack kits typically used by EASA Part 145 approved aircraft maintenance companies.
“Tangye jacks are small and powerful which makes them ideal for busy aircraft maintenance engineers,” says Jenni O’Brien, sales manager, Allspeeds Ltd. “At our first GSE Expo Europe, we’re announcing an expansion to the Tangye range to better meet the changing and diverse needs of maintenance organizations.”
In addition to the standard range of aircraft jacks, Allspeeds offers bespoke solutions and designs, ranging from small customer-tailored jacks to much larger systems, which incorporate the Tangye range of pumps.
