Ground power units

Nov. 14, 2012

The AMI line of portable ground power units is designed to perform aircraft starting and maintenance functions at a much more compact size and price than traditional GPUs. AMI ground power units can be used on the ramp and are portable enough to fly with the aircraft to remote locations. The unit can be used for maintenance functions for prolonged periods of continuous power while connected to an AC power source for shop or hangar applications. The versatile AMI GPUs offer tremendous cranking amperage when used for aircraft starts on the ramp or in remote locations. The internal batteries offer maintenance free operation. AMI offers portable ground power units from 1,800 to 4,500 peek amps and units from 25 to 100 amps of continuous power. Features include cooler starts for turbine-powered aircraft; continuous power for shop or ramp; light weight, portable; significant power output for size and weight; rapid recharge rate; and maintenance free.
