The LEKTRO 88i is an all-weather, all-electric, towbarless tractor with a 54,432 kg (120,000 lb) capacity, for handling turboprops up to large regional jets. This extremely universal and low-profile tow vehicle is PLC-controlled and features AC drive motors (with regenerative braking), encased in a solid steel chassis with an OEM approved patented cradle/strap-capture system that ensures safe and secure aircraft handling. Designed for single-person operation, it provides a tight turning radius, zero emissions and very low maintenance requirements. Additional options include an operator’s cab, dual facing operator’s helm, iOPS telemetry system, lithium batteries and a variety of rapid charging options.
