Flightcom Team Communications System At Southwest Airlines

On December 5, 2011, Flightcom Corporation and Southwest Airlines announced an agreement to deploy wireless aviation ground support communications systems at all of the airline's gates nationwide. Flightcom's hands-free technology allows the team of workers guiding an aircraft out of the gate to communicate wirelessly with the plane's pilot and each other so they do not have to rely only on hand signals and wands.
